Drowning

Every day I drown in my own sorrow,

Wondering if this pain inside me will ever go away,
My heart is filled with an endless stream of sadness,
Everyday my heart is drowning with my own blood of sorrow,
I'm suffocating inside,
I try to breath,
Yet I never seem to catch my breath,
Nobody sees the pain,
The chains trapping me from breaking free are too much to bear,
Every day I wish to come out of this misery,
A path that soon will lead to destruction,
I must stop,
I must stop,
If I don't I'll end up left alone,
Wondering why?
Oh soon God will hear me,
all the chains that keep me trapped will be broken,
All the pain will soon be lifted from my chest,
Then my heart will be able to pump,
Just then I'll feel peace and happiness,
Be free as a dove.....
